As part of the Kansas City Metro- (According to Censusreporter.org and Grokipedia.com), Ray County Commissioners sit on the Board of Directors of the MARC (MARC.ORG), supporting policies that improve health and wellness outcomes for all. MARC collaborates with the Rural Health Transformation Program: ToRCH Program. Ray County is one of the 6 counties in Missouri that received funding for preventative and pre-hospital services, use of community health workers, technology-based services and local regional care hubs. (rayhealthcare.org) The Executive Director of Special Needs Services of Ray County (SNS) became a member of the Community Leadership Board for the ToRCH Program in Ray County in 2024.
